The Wolfe City Volunteer Fire Department a.k.a. Wolfe City Fire Rescue is a rural firefighting company operating out of one fire station, which is located at 106 S. Santa Fe St. Wolfe City, TX 75496. We have 25 volunteers providing structural and wildland firefighting, rescue, hazardous materials operations, EMS first response with advanced life support, as well as public education to a population of 6,000, which includes our first due response area in the county, outside of the city limits of Wolfe City. Wolfe City Fire Department covers a 120 square mile first due area. We also provide mutual aid for other cities fire departments when needed.
