Animal Control

Cory McElwrath, Wolfe City Animal Control Officer, is certified by the State of Texas to handle domestic and wildlife animals. Officer McElwrath is knowledgeable in the field and is able to educate citizens on various viruses and diseases that animal carry/contract including rabies. Officer McElwrath is available to remove deceased animals as well as educate on the proper care of animals. He is passionate about animals and educating the public on the city ordinances and laws. Officer McElwrath is qualified to issue warnings, citations, and removal of animals. Officer McElwrath is also passionate about helping citizens learn about animal safety and proper/humane animal housing in the community.
